Isn't it extraordinary how international is the language of football? I developed a love of football from about the age of 7. I heard a match commentary on the radio and it filled my imagination. I think it was snowing at the time and the combination of exciting football and snowy weather struck me with awe.
Throughout the world football is a popular game and can usually form the basis of a conversation with a stranger.

languages
The matter of speaking languages other than one's first language is increasingly interesting to me. In musing on this I'm keen to know other people's thoughts, refections on this. Because of internet access to learning tools it is so much easier than before to embark on the learning process.
